Darrin Bell is an award-winning cartoonist and editorial illustrator whose controversial work appears occasionally in the Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, The Oakland Tribune, and other major publications around the world. Darrin's cartoons have also been featured on 60 Minutes, Tech TV, and have been known to spark occasional nationwide protests.

His syndicated comic strip Rudy Park, appears in over 80 newspapers and websites across North America (including the LA Daily News, Chicago Sun-Times, Seattle Times, Dallas Morning News, Detroit Free Press, and more).

In 2003, with the launch of his other comic strip Candorville, Darrin became the first African-American cartoonist to be syndicated with two comic strips simultaneously. Candorville, only 7 months old, already appears in such papers as the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Detroit Free Press, Seattle Times, and many more. Darrin collaborates with his fiancé, Laura Bustamante, to create the Spanish-language version of Candorville (Candidaldea).
